Why Real Estate?

Janet McAfee was founded by my maternal grandmother in 1975. Becoming a third-generation realtor has been a lifelong goal of mine and I look forward to continuing my family’s legacy in serving the St. Louis Luxury Market.

What makes you the right agent for home buyers and sellers?

With over $5 million in transactions in my first year in real estate, I have a unique mix of youth and experience. With youth, comes passion. I fully dedicate my time and energy towards my clients. Experience speaks for itself. I hold the record for the single largest sale in Ladue’s most sought-after neighborhood, Fair Oaks.

What were you doing before real estate?

A lot of life has happened since my high school days at MICDS. I attended business school at the very prestigious Kelly School at Indiana University. Instead of coming into real estate immediately, I decided to carve out my own path. I found myself at a top institution in the banking industry in Chicago. After experiencing success there, and a few promotions, family called, and it was time to move to St. Louis and start up in real estate.

What do you like to do when you’re not entertaining clients, hosting open houses and negotiating deals, and studying real estate?

I like to do what everybody likes to do. I enjoy playing golf with family and friends, I enjoy watching the St. Louis Blues and I enjoy hanging out at my pad in Demun.
